From Stuttgart

So lovely to meet up with Cathy and Dick at 'Le pain quotedie' at St Pancras Station for a lovely breakfast......orange juice and a delicious croissant. Then we met Jean and all together went to visit our tour guide before sending our way for ages to book in for the Eurostar. In spite of the length of the queue, we kept moving, and all went smoothly. Our seats on the train were really comfortable. As a foursome we have so far had table seats, which are what we all like!
We were soon whizzing through the English countryside, under the channel, and then through France. We changed trains at Paris, and had time to go out of the station into a nearby cafe for an orange presse. Then on from Gare de L'est to Stuttgart, and a coach transfer to our hotel. It's a nice hotel and we have just enjoyed a lovely meal....fresh salads, followed by a main course (I had sole) and a dessert.Just what we fancied!

It's a comfortable start tomorrow. We gather at 10.15 after breakfast. More train travel tomorrow, but then 4 nights in Fussen and a chance to unpack!
